Golfing Information
Water
is in play on many holes, at least from the longer tees. Our lakes
and trees are home to a spectacular array of wildlife including
Alligators, Osprey, Pelicans, Moorhens, Anhinga's, Turtles, Herons,
Egrets, Ibis, Eagles and more.
We have two nines, separated by a lightly traveled road. With no
"long trips to grandmother's house" between holes, we
permit walking after 4 pm.
An automated lightning detection and alarm system declares the
course closed (one long blast) when lightning is detected within
five miles. The course is declared reopened (series of short blasts)
when a suitable period has passed with no lightning strikes within
five miles.
A high-speed
Emergency Cart can quickly respond to anywhere on the golf course
with first aid supplies and a defibrillator.

Wondering if you can play Kelly Greens? We have six sets of tees
and each closer set generally shortens the carry on the tee shot
or eliminates the carry altogether. Yes, golfers of all abilities
can play and enjoy Kelly Greens.
During season (November thru April) Kelly Greens uses a crossover
tee time system. Tee times are assigned from 7:00am to 9:00am on
Hole#1 and Hole#10. No tee times are assigned after 9:00am and until
11:30am. Again, they are assigned on both nines until 1:30pm.
